Vocational Training Unit

The Ptolemy Reid Rehabilitation Centre is recruiting adolescents and young adults with disabilities for enrollment in their Vocational Training Unit. The unit offers training enabling students to acquire skills for daily living such as cooking (preparation of basic nutritious meals), bed making, grooming and management of money.

This unit provides training in skills which would enable adolescents and young adults to access employment either in the open market or through self-employment and thus assist in their self-empowerment and financial independence.

Persons applying would need to come down to PRRC in person to be assessed for their compatibility for the programme.  Please feel free to contact us for information on telephone numbers: 226-1441 and 225-6551, on our website rehab (at) gol.net.gy or in person at 131-132 Carmichael Street, South Cummingsburg, Georgetown.
